Land Rover Defender X- Dynamic

Transcal have worked with leading automotive OEM, Jaguar Land Rover to develop and manufacture a new performance textile, that features within the new Defender X- Dynamic model.

The new Defender is a transformation from its iconic past, still having the options of two body styles: a shorter ‘90’ with three doors and a longer ‘110’ five-door model. With such a diverse style range it competes with most SUV’s. The much-anticipated release of the new Defender retains all terrain capabilities and toughness. It is a car that has been developed to adapt to all lifestyles. Within the interior there is still utilitarian functionality and luxury refinement.

The Defender X- Dynamic features a tough exterior design and unique interior fittings. Transcal’s new performance technology, Geonic, is featured within the seat ribbons and centre console.

Geonic, is a printed 3D textured material. The desired print is applied with PU and creates a subtle raised texture. The outcome is a strong durable material with high abrasion qualities. This new high-performance technology was a perfect pairing with the new Defenders aesthetic. The Defenders exposed and hard-wearing surfaces throughout make this 4×4 visually compelling.
